Sleepworking...

In the future a woman becomes a sleepworker, her body programmed to do menial labour while asleep. She suffers disturbing side effects and embarks upon a dangerous journey to uncover what sleepworkers are really being made to do while unconscious.

SLEEPWORKING won the Grand Jury Prize at the Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival 2014 at the EMP Museum in Seattle, the Prix du Jury at the Utopiales International Festival of Science Fiction 2013 and Best Director at the Salty Horror Film Festival in Salt Lake City. It was awarded both the Prix du Meilleur Film and the Quiet Earth Prize at the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire in Paris, France, as well as Audience Awards for Best Short at the Full Moon Film Festival 2013 in Romania and at the National Irish Science Fiction Film Festival 2013. The film has screened at over 60 international film festivals, including Leeds International Film Festival, Screamfest LA, Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival, Lund International Fantastic Film Festival, Trieste Science+Fiction International Film Festival, Grimmfest, Boston SciFi Film Festival, Utopiales International Festival of Science Fiction, Seattle's Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival, among many others. The film is now streaming exclusively on Gunpowder and Sky's YouTube Channel, DUST.
